Typography

Our font face

If you’ve ever wanted to improve or transform your physical appearance in a positive way, you will know first hand just how daunting the process can be. Where do you start, who do you ask, where do you even stand and what does the ‘end’ result actually look like?

Naturally you take your burning questions to a non-surgical medispa style clinic. You think to yourself who better to help you. Within the first 15 minutes of your consult you realise you’re not going to find the guidance you’re looking for here. The doctor keeps looking at his watch, your questions are met with passive dismissals and overall you leave with more questions than answers.

This is the modern day experience of trying to improve your physical appearance. Achieving a meaningful glow up does not have to be this hard, you just lack the right unbiased guidance, which is why we created QOVES.

Colors

Type color use case

When combining our primary color in a piece of communication, alway try to ensure legibility. Do not layer bright colors atop on another or dark colors atop one another in a way that would make something difficult to read.

Typography

PP Neue Montreal for labels, Zagma for sub label

PP Neue Montreal carries all product and communication copy. Zagma is the label face: uppercase only, set small, so a label always reads as a label.

Short text25 words

Option I

QOVES is an evidence-led facial analysis service. It helps people understand their own features and make safer, better-informed choices about the way they look.

Medium text25 words

Option II

QOVES is an evidence-led facial analysis service. Members submit a set of photographs and receive a clear, personal report on their features, drawn from peer-reviewed research, together with a plan of non-surgical options ranked by evidence, cost and risk. The company’s position is that understanding a face should come before changing it.

Short text108 words

Option III

QOVES is an evidence-led facial analysis service built on a simple idea: most people are given advice about their appearance long before anyone explains their face to them. Members submit a set of photographs and receive a clear, personal report assessing their features against the published literature, together with a plan of non-surgical options ranked by evidence, cost and risk. Nothing is scored against a single ideal and nothing is prescribed. The report is a starting point for better decisions, whether that means changing a routine, seeing a specialist, or doing nothing at all. QOVES operates on a membership, with no commission on any procedure it names.

Backgrounds

Background texture

Four surfaces carry our work. White and ink hold everyday communication, while texture and gradient add depth for covers and feature moments.

Use them sparingly to support the content, keeping compositions clean and ensuring the texture never distracts from the message or core visual elements.

Surfaces

The 4 colors we use

  1. Solid surfaces. White carries ink type text, coloured background carries white. The workhorses for most layouts.

  2. Grain blur and gradient. Reserve for large areas. Confirm contrast before type ships on them.
